I'd like to be held accountable, not if the gentleman fails to fulfill the promise of this speech (because: how would that be my fault?), but if I fail to express disappointment in the event that he does so fail.
If I had even one reader right now, I'd ask that reader to hold me to this. Thankfully I do not. Maybe someday.
